Burglary appeal: Can you help?

Dear resident

We are appealing to the Donnington community for information following an attempt burglary at a home on Penistone Close, Donnington Wood.

The attempt burglary took place between 2:45pm and 3:25pm on 21/01/2026.

The victim came home to find their back gate unbolted and a ground floor window smashed. The door also looked damaged consistent with it being levered. The victim believes their dog has startled the unknown suspect as nothing has been taken and they do not believe entry was made.
